The trail begins in a small mountain village El Querforadat, which can only be reached by car. Even from the parking lot, there is an impressive view of a wall of mountains and rocks.

At the start we immediately begin the ascent, passing through a shady forest that gives way to meadows and pastures. The most interesting point of the route is the peak Tossal de Badés (1818 m). From there a panoramic view opens over the entire comarca La Cerdanya, the Cadí massif, and the French Pyrenees. We recommend setting out early in the summer to have time to enjoy the view and rest at the summit – the view there is really very good.

Then – a descent and continuation of the route to the village of Cava, where there is a snack bar at the hotel, open on weekends during the high season. The trail again runs through forest and meadows, with occasional isolated houses.

After passing the settlement of Cava, a short climb awaits us again with an absolutely breathtaking panoramic view of the mountain range and a trail awash in greenery.

Overall, the route is of medium difficulty, with the possibility to make many stops, since the views from everywhere literally make you linger a little longer.
