Route description
The route starts from the valley near the lower station of the funicular (teleférico). Then with a slight ascent somewhere turning into a traverse the path heads south.
The first third of this route — "Way of Christ" — is a monumental mountain route of the Stations of the Cross (the way to Golgotha) with 15 stops
Each of the 15 stops (stations) was created by different sculptors and architects over nearly 50 years (1915–1963). You will see how classical stone bas-reliefs give way to avant-garde metal figures of the 20th century.
The route features works by iconic Catalan masters. For example, the first station was created according to a design by architect Enric Sagnier (the designer of the temple on Mount Tibidabo in Barcelona), and other stops are decorated with modernist wrought ironwork and mosaics.

The trail then crosses a bridge and then, with a slight climb, reaches a viewpoint, after which it turns and, likewise with a small change in elevation, leads us toward the shelter (albergue), where you can have a coffee in the morning after the walk.

Next to the refuge is the upper funicular station - you can use it to descend. If you booked tickets for the mountain train cremallera — the same QR code should work at the entrance to the funicular station.
